Malta: Gozo & Comino Islands, Blue Lagoon & Seacaves Tour

1.Gozo & Comino Islands, Blue Lagoon & Seacaves Tour

★★★★★★★★★★4.5 · 15,672 reviews · 7 hours · from $28Our pick

From Bugibba, cruise Malta’s northern coast to Comino’s Blue Lagoon, Crystal Lagoon, sea caves, and Elephant’s Head. Swim, use the boat’s waterslide, then spend three to four hours in Gozo. Add the shuttle to Victoria or, in summer, Ramla Bay. Audio guides come in five languages.

“This is the tour I rave about to everyone that asks me how Malta was. Everything was done so well on this tour. They let us know from the beginning that there would be adjustments due to the weather, as well as at the Blue Lagoon. They made sure we still got the full experience! The bus ride to Victoria was also very well organised and my time there was also very well spent. Would definitely want to do this tour again when swimming is a possibility.”

Comino: Blue Lagoon, Crystal Lagoon, and Seacaves Tour

2.Blue Lagoon, Crystal Lagoon, and Seacaves Tour

★★★★★★★★★★4.6 · 5,673 reviews · 6 hours · from $35

Spend about six hours aboard a modern catamaran from Bugibba Jetty, stopping at Comino’s Blue Lagoon and, in fair summer weather, Crystal Lagoon. Swim from the ladders, ride the waterslide, watch through underwater windows, and cruise past Santa Maria Caves. Food, drinks, and optional speedboat cave trips cost extra.

“The best part is being able to be on a comfortable boat with lounge chairs to nap and soak up some sun in between stops. It’s quite amazing and this boat looked much much better and relaxing than the others moored in the stops. I’d highly recommend this for a day out in Malta. The only other recommendation I’d make is to take a smaller boat for the whole day that is able to get into the smaller cave areas, but you’ll be exchanging the comfort you’d have for 6 hours of the day. Thanks for the great experience!”

From hotel pickup at 8am to drop-off at 4pm, everything felt straight out of a movie. My girls and I absolutely loved it — the boat ride, the jeep, and the lunch were all fantastic. A special thank you to our driver, who was incredibly knowledgeable about every destination and went above and beyond to make the experience unforgettable. He even had speakers in the jeep and opened it up so we could enjoy the fresh Gozo breeze while driving through the beautiful green pastures. The…”

“Itinerary runs like clockwork - The area at the blue lagoon was gorgeous and quiet with plenty of time to swim. We added on the €5 pp bus tour for gozo island and it was great! Took us right to the centre, leaving us time to explore. Only issue we had was the lack of seats on the top deck - we arrived nearly an hour before sail and still had to share one between 2 of us.”

“Nice boat with seemingly new and good accomdations, decent lunch you can by as an addition to the ticket. Unfortunately way too loud party-music the made it feel like a partyboat and disturbed the experience of gorgeus views, blue lagoon and made it difficult to speak to the people next to you. Asked the crew to turn the volume down a bit, but unfortunately it didnt happen. Arrive early (!) if you want a good spot.”
